The new Samyang Xeen Meister 24mm T1.3 lenses are ultra-bright Full Frame 8k fixed lenses.
 
In order to meet the current professional needs of cinematographers and focus pullers, Samyang has built a premium designed, robust and high quality lens. This strong construction ensures the durability of a prime lens series without compromising on lightness, this cine lens uses titanium in its front section.
 
The exceptional aperture of T1.3 gives this lens great versatility, allowing it to shoot with great image quality and clarity in both optimal lighting conditions and in less well-lit environments. The blur it provides at its maximum aperture manages to break up the background to obtain dramatic results where the prominence of the subject is enhanced, although due to its focal length it is more usable as a wide-angle lens to ensure high quality contextual shots. Together with its improved 13-blade diaphragm, compared to the 11 blades of the previous ranges, it offers an excellent bokeh effect or superior focusing precision.
 
The SAMYANG XEEN MEISTER has a 43.2mm image circle, which allows capturing images up to 8K and is compatible with today's large sensor cameras. With a rugged metal construction and an aluminum lens front for durability, the Meister range is a great choice for demanding video and film productions.
 
The complete range includes PL, Sony E or Canon EF mount models.
 
This lens offers X-coating lens coating technology, Samyang offers greater aesthetic control over the final images and homogeneous color throughout the range. Control over internal reflections, flares and ghosting gives cinematographers the ability to achieve their own unique cinematic style.
 
In order to offer professional focusing solutions, Samyang has implemented a number of improvements to the focus rings. Extending the focus rotation range by 100° to 300° enables smooth and accurate focus shifting. Two focus and iris scales on both sides of the lens, treated to be visible in dark environments, facilitate the focuser's work.
 
To speed up productions this Samyang XEEN MEISTER 24MM T1.3 shares with the rest of the range the same front diameter of 114mm which facilitates the exchange of lenses. The focus and iris rings are at the same distance throughout the range, allowing no modification of accessories such as Matte Box or Follow Focus when changing focal length.
 
Thanks to the Cooke/i technology of the XEEN Meister 24mm T1.3 with PL mount, detailed recording data such as focal length, aperture and frame rate are automatically and digitally recorded for the lens.
