Video matrix are the backbone of signal management within any video installation. Integrating a video matrix gives flexibility in the use of the rest of the production facilities, allowing cameras to be used from one set to another, interconnecting rooms or sending signals back and forth as needed at any given time, dynamically modifying the configuration as required.

Blackmagic has two ranges of video matrix, the Smart Videohub of different standard sizes, with SDI inputs and outputs and the Universal Videohub, which are configurable by cards in two chassis types: up to 72 and up to 288 inputs/outputs.
