The XEEN CF lenses were introduced to the market in September 2019 by Samyang Optics to meet the needs of digital cinematography. After extensive meetings with cinematographers around the world, the XEEN CFs were developed with a carbon fiber body that ensures robustness and light weight, as well as a compact design for flexible use while maintaining image quality for sensors with high pixel counts. At less than 0.9kg, they can be used to create images with various equipment configurations, from large cinema cameras to drones and gimbals. In this way they follow the latest trends in the film industry.
