Wanting to meet the current professional needs of cinematographers and focus pullers, Samyang has built a premium lens design, robust and high quality that ensures long durability. It is a lightweight but robust cine lens, using titanium in its front section.
The Samyang Xeen Meister's aperture of T2.6 gives this lens great versatility, allowing you to shoot with great image quality and clarity. Due to its wide-angle focal length, it allows us to create scenes where a great general shot or a situational shot is the protagonist, contextualizing the narrative. Together with its improved 13-blade diaphragm, it manages to offer an excellent combination with its companions of the MEISTER range.

This cinema lens features Samyang's X-coating lens coating technology, offering greater aesthetic control over final images and consistent color throughout the range. Control over internal reflections, flares and ghosting gives cinematographers the ability to achieve their own unique cinematic style.
In order to offer professional focusing solutions, Samyang has implemented a number of improvements to the focus rings. Extending the focus rotation range by 100° to 300° enables smooth and accurate focus shifting. Two focus and iris scales on both sides of the lens, treated to be visible in dark environments, facilitate the focuser's work.
Thanks to the Cooke/i technology of the XEEN Meister 14mm T2.6 PL mount, detailed recording data such as focal length, aperture and frame rate are automatically and digitally recorded for the lens.
