Swit ET-N80 is the intercom control panel for the SWIT NDI EFP multi-camera production system. It can connect with up to 8 EC-N200 or EC-N200-4K camera adapters, and also supports cascading with third party intercom systems or more units using the Voice Link port. Supports full duplex intercom between the director and cameras, both individually and as a one-to-many function.
It includes a 5-pin headset and a gooseneck microphone to plug into the front panel, from which you can also select the camera channel, adjust the volume, turn the microphone on and off, or mute the channels directly from the keypad.
And all this, simply by connecting it to a switch within your NDI network using an RJ45 cable. This system has a configuration GUI that allows you to adjust all the details, such as entering the IP addresses of the devices or configuring the connection of new camera adapters.
The SWIT NDI EFP system consists of EC-N200 (up to HD) or EC-N200-4K (up to 4K) camera adapters and an ET-N80 Intercom control panel with all essential accessories for a unique configuration.
The EC-N200 camera adapter takes the 3G-SDI input from the cameras, encoding into an HD NDI stream over an IP network, and the EC-N200-4K camera adapter takes the 12G-SDI input, and encodes into 4K NDI. Both versions support PGM NDI source decoding and monitor output via HDMI. Any camera monitor with HDMI input can be used to monitor local video from the camera and return PGM video in picture-in-picture mode. The control buttons on the adapter allow you to adjust the intercom volume and press to talk to the director. There is TALLY light on board for the cameramen and also TALLY light for the presenter. The camera adapters support PoE power and D-Tap V-Mount power.
The NDI EFP system has respected all the operating habits of the SDI/Fiber EFP system, and has greatly simplified cabling work by using this NDI (Video IP) solution. With any ENG camera, an NDI production system can be created, and all the intercommunication, TALLY, NDI video return, high quality and low latency with reasonable network bandwidth.
