The Swit EC-N200 is the camera adapter of the SWIT NDI EFP multi-camera production system with Intercom monitoring, Tally and return programme signal, compatible with 4K signal. This SWIT device takes the 12G-SDI input signal from the camera and encodes it into a 4K Full NDI stream which is then distributed over the IP network.
It is also capable of detecting other NDI signals on the network, allowing it to choose the programme signal to decode, and output it through its HDMI output. Any camera monitor with HDMI input would be able to monitor the local video from the camera and return the video from the programme signal, or both in picture in picture mode.
Together with the ET-N80 intercom control panel, a maximum of 8 Swit EC-N200 or EC-N200-4K camera adapters can be used to implement an intercom system. The ET-N80 is also compatible with other camera intercom bases via its four-wire connector. Thanks to this system, directors can talk to each camera individually or give orders to all of them at the same time. The control buttons on the side of the adapter allow to adjust the volume of the intercom and to press to talk to the director.
A small tally light is integrated into the device, and an external tally light is also included in the pack for easy mounting. The device is powered by PoE, by D-Tap mounting a V-mount battery or by DC power. Also included in the case is a 15mm rod system for mounting the EC-N200 between camera and tripod. This rod system is very easy to install and universally compatible with all types of ENG cameras and video tripods.
