Roland V-160HD - SDI and HDMI Video Mixer with Streaming

The Roland V-160HD is a hybrid, multi-format video mixer with eight HDMI and eight 3G-SDI video inputs that can be switched, effects can be added and output consistently to displays, projectors, recorders and via USB Type-C for live streaming.

The HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs can accept signals up to 1080p60 resolution from numerous sources, such as media players, computers or professional video cameras, and all of them feature frame rate converters. Four of the HDMI inputs use internal, real-time scalers that separately scale and/or convert input video in different resolutions to the selected output resolution, ensuring output consistency between sources. It has a total of seven outputs consisting of: SDI, HDMI and USB Type-C, for streaming, as well as Bluetooth for control, allowing an iPad, macOS or Windows device to be used.

The Roland V-160HD features an eight-layer video effects engine, four PiP (picture-in-picture) outputs, channels for up to 16 still images and two downstream keyers, supporting numerous effects such as cut, mix, fade, chroma key, luma key, flip, fade, etc. It can store up to 16 .jpg, .bmp and .png files, up to 1920x1080 resolution, in internal memory for adding images to effects. It supports live automation systems, macros, presets and cue management to make it easy to stream and plan your live show.

It can also control up to 16 PTZ cameras from numerous brands via IP or RS-232 serial control, consolidating all control on the V-160HD, and also supports GPIO, wired and wireless Tally.

The V-160HD features a 40-channel audio mixer, and PCM audio up to 24bit, 48kHz, with an effects library offering gain, de-esser, noise reduction and more. It also features RCA analog inputs and outputs, 3-pin stereo XLR inputs and outputs, and support for 1/4" BOSS pedals.
