If the adapter is used on a SONY E body compatible with Fast Hybrid AF technology, the AF-S mode gives very fast and smooth autofocus and on other bodies the contrast detection AF gives very accurate autofocus.
This SIGMA MC-11 adapter gets the stabilization system (OS) functions from both the lens and the camera body. This adapter is very complete and comes with a coating on the inside that prevents internal reflections from hitting the lens.
