The KILOVIEW Intercom Server (KIS) allows up to 32 users to join in communication with one-way reception or mutual conversation (One-to-Many Intercom and Party Line) under the control of an administrator. All KILOVIEW products (hardware or software) have support for KIS and easily join the system. In addition, KIS allows users to join on computers and mobile phones simply via a browser, anywhere and anytime. 
 
Generally, to implement an Intercom system, a base, a beltpack and a headset are needed for each user. Kiloview's KIS solves the same tasks without the need for any equipment. A headset with microphone connected via USB can be enough when this system is implemented. There is no need to burden with hardware that could be heavy. Simply KIS can solve the problem with professional results. 


Secure, stable and latency-free communication

KIS offers ultra-low latency. Timing is key in some IP Video applications, such as sports broadcasts, live video streaming for news services or in remote TV productions. KIS enables real-time communication ensuring that orders arrive on time at all times. In addition, KIS provides data security by using the Secure Real Time Transport Protocol (SRTP) which authenticates and encrypts information to maintain the confidentiality of communications.


Centralised management and simplified operation

Once each device is registered in the Intercom server, it will automatically generate editable terminal information (terminal name, display name, IP address). The administrator can create groups, assign users, set up passwords or obtain QR codes to facilitate connection to remote users from a web browser.

The KIS web interface allows more flexible management and centralised control of communications: who is speaking, who is muted, volume control, etc. In addition, KILOVIEW provides all API documentation free of charge, which makes the development of additional functions easier, and turns its interface into an element of efficiency and reliability in the IP Video flow.
