H.265 encoding
With HEVC H.265 encoding, the Kiloview S2 achieves a lower encoding bit rate and saves more than 50% bandwidth with the same picture quality compared to the H.264 codec.
(Typical encoding bit rate: H.265: 4KP30 at 4 Mbps, H.264: 4KP30 at 8 Mbps)
4K Transmission
The unit has an HDMI 2.0 input so it supports 4Kp60 and is capable of encoding up to 4Kp30. It is also compatible with SD, HD and VESA resolutions, providing high picture quality.
Supported protocols
S2 supports RTSP / RTMP / RTMPS / HLS / TS-UDP / Onvif1.1 / 2.0 / and NDI|HX, so users can stream live with RTMP / RTMPS, produce live with NDI|HX and produce remotely with SRT, all can be managed at the same time with a single device.
Audio and intercom
It supports both integrated and analogue 3.5 mm audio.
Together with Kiloview's intercom software, the S2 can support intercom functions for better communication. (Compatible with software version 2.0+)
Real-time monitoring and video preview
The web user interface is equipped to preview the video source in real time, allowing you to monitor the status of the video at any time.
Live streaming to 16 platforms simultaneously
The equipment has dual transmission output (main and secondary). Each stream can be sent to 8 platforms even with different protocols. In total, S2 can transmit live simultaneously to 16 platforms with a resolution of up to 4Kp30 in the main transmission and up to 1080p60 in the secondary transmission.

Recording
The device has a USB connection for local recording, NAS or even video playback while streaming.
Image and text overlay
You can overlay a logo, text or images at any position on the screen. Professional tools such as rotation, cropping, mirroring and colour adjustment are also available. (Compatible with software version 2.0+).

Power
S2 can be powered by PoE and DC 12 V. An Ethernet cable can supply power and transmit signals at the same time.
Application Scenes
S2 is commonly used in broadcasting, conferences, programmes, live streaming, interactive connections, network video recording, integrated media projects, etc.
