The Kiloview U40 is an HDMI to NDI 4K encoder, capable of converting any camera signal or other HDMI source into a Full-NDI stream. The U40 can also convert to other more common protocols, such as RTSP, SRT, RTMP and HLS to NDI|HX, SRT, RTMP, RTSP, TS-UDP, etc. It can be powered by 12V DC or via Ethernet (PoE), can transmit signals for PTZ camera control, has built-in preview and program Tally and can be easily mounted on a camera due to its small size.
Using a single cable, HDMI video sources have the ability to easily enter the NDI environment and enjoy the benefits of IP-based transmission, with ultra-high image quality and low latency.

Real 4K

PTZ Control
The Kiloview U40, supports PTZ control over USB to RS232/485/422 serial. Also supports PTZ control over IP, no additional cable required.
Camera link
In the Kiloview U40 web user interface, a web-based camera can be managed using the camera link function.
Tally
U40 includes bright and distinct Tally lights for PVW / PGM indication; everything is to achieve a perfect cooperation for the team.
USB for unlimited expansion
It supports USB camera input and converts video to NDI. In addition, the USB supports functions such as USB to RS232/485/422, USB recording, etc.
Audio and intercom
Kiloview U40 supports 3.5 mm analogue audio line-in or NDI® embedded audio. It also supports voice intercom based on Kiloview Intercom software.
