Based on the Birddog P200, the flagship NDI camera in its class, the BirdDog P240 incorporates an upgraded Sony Exmor R sensor to offer increased light sensitivity along with the best performance and image quality, thanks to the photo-diodes being placed on top of the circuitry, achieving twice the sensitivity with a noticeable reduction in noise. It is a 13MP back-illuminated CMOS sensor with a size of 1/3.06" and the ability to record FullHD HDR video.
This PTZ camera has NDI, SDI and HDMI outputs, as well as XLR or TRS audio input and output. On the IP video side, the Birddog P240 has native NDI 5.5 support, and, in addition to fully configurable Full NDI, NDI|HX2 and NDI|HX3, can simultaneously generate SRT, RTSP and RTMP streams. Free auto-tracking, FreeD output for AR/VR workflows and additional features including a very useful OLED display showing IP address, 360° tally mohawk, filter thread, security anchor point and carrying handle make the P240 the best choice for live productions.
