The PTZOptics Move SE series is an enhanced version of the popular PTZ camera line from PTZOptics, bringing the popular PTZ and auto-tracking features to your fingertips. This advanced camera combines the power of HDMI, SDI, USB and IP outputs, along with the added benefit of upgradeability by adding NDI|HX3, all integrated into a single unit. By activating this licence, any camera in this series will be able to generate an NDI signal available to NDI hardware and software devices on the same network.

NDI stands for Network Device Interface. NDI is both a protocol for transmitting video over IP and a method for compressing video. It is a stream creator designed to move, with low latency, multimedia data over a network. It allows video equipment to identify and communicate with each other over IP, and in real time, encode, transmit and receive multiple streams of high quality video and audio, with low latency and frame accuracy. Any device can benefit from this Video over IP technology, including video mixers, graphics systems, capture cards and many other production devices.

The NDI protocol is designed to carry video, uncompressed multi-channel audio and metadata in both directions, allowing a video signal with associated audio to be received and sent back, for example, PTZ and Tally control.  NDI transmission provides multiple advantages over traditional cable transmission.
