Datapath VisionAV-HD 2x DVI-I and Composite Capture Card

DTP-VisionAV-HD

The Datapath VisionAV-HD is a PCI Express 4x capture card with three video capture inputs: two high-definition DVI-I channels and one Composite Video input, which operate simultaneously and independently, with support for analogue and digital audio. The VisionAV-HD also adds multiple audio capture channels, which can be software-synchronised with all video capture channels.

The card features a full 16-lane PCI connector, with notches to accommodate 4-, 8- and 16-lane motherboard connectors. The VisionAV-HD also adds embedded audio capture from the HDMI signal. The video capture card provides balanced and unbalanced analogue audio capture via an optional AM2 audio module. This provides a unique and flexible board solution for areas such as medical, conference capture, webcasting and video conferencing.

Datapath VisionAV-HD is a video capture card with two channels of high-definition DVI-I digital video and an additional Composite Video input that operate simultaneously and independently, with full analogue and digital audio support.

The VisionAV-HD has three independent inputs for video capture: two that support HD capture and a third that supports standard definition Composite Video. This capture card also adds multiple channels of audio capture, which can be software-synchronised, using time stamping, to all video capture channels.

The two high-definition DVI inputs support HDMI, DVI, RGB and Analogue Component (YPbPr) signals via a DVI-I connector, with VESA resolutions up to 4096x4096 pixels and 1080p (1920x1080) at 60 frames per second.

The VisionAV-HD captures all 3 video channels simultaneously and stores them in three on-board buffers for seamless video, along with an audio stream that can be selected from one of the HDMI ports or one of the analogue audio inputs. This data can then be processed and copied via DMA transfers to the host system for display, storage or transmission.

Datapath VisionAV-HD capture card features

  • Four-lane PCIe connection, with 1.6GB/s total capture bandwidth
  • PCI Express capture card with three independent video capture channels
  • Two DVI-I capture channels, with HDMI, DVI, RGB, or YPbPr video capture.
  • HDMI embedded audio and low latency input-to-output capture
  • One SD capture channel on Composite, with PAL, NTSC and SECAM support up to 720x576 at 16 bit colour
  • DMA direct to graphics memory from third party graphics cards
  • All standard features of the Vision range of video capture cards
