The new
Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 telephoto lens has been redesigned from the previous model improving the optical performance allowing handheld shooting with extraordinary sharpness. It is an extraordinary telephoto lens dedicated to nature, wildlife and sports enthusiasts. It is also a very good lens for video recording.
This lens features a number of enhancements such as
anti-reflection technologies, eBAND (Extended Bandwidth and Angular-Dependency) coating and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) coating to improve light transmission and suppress internal reflections, including light reflected from the camera's image sensors. Additional improvements expand the versatility of the lens, for example,
the minimum object distance (MOD) has been reduced to 2.2 m, allowing you to focus the viewer's attention on a close subject/subject and enjoy beautiful bokeh.
His
USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) focusing motor provides excellent response and control as AF speed has been significantly improved over the previous model. High-speed focusing is very accurate even when capturing moving subjects.
This
Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 telephoto lens offers three types of VC (stabilization). Mode 1 provides a perfect balance between image stability and stabilization effects; mode 2 is exclusively for panoramic images; and mode 3 prioritizes the stabilization of captured images and forgoes stabilization of the viewfinder image.
The front surface of the lens element is coated with a water and grease repellent fluorine protective compound. The lens surface is easier to clean and
less vulnerable to the damaging effects of dirt, dust, moisture and fingerprints. This means that outdoor use is even better, as it is protected against adverse conditions.
