Take your video wall projects to the next level with the DATAPATH Fx4-SDI video wall processor. With four SDI outputs and the ability to daisy-chain multiple units, this controller allows you to create even large and complex video wall configurations. The intuitive DATAPATH video wall design software and comprehensive API make projects quick to set up and easy to manage. The FX4 offers a choice of 3G-SDI, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 inputs and provides up to DCI 4K 4096x2160p output resolution at 60fps.
Each monitor connected to the outputs can take its signal from any region of the input image, as all necessary cropping, scaling, rotation and frame rate conversion is handled by the Datapath FX4 hardware. Regions can be fully or partially overlapped to allow any output to replicate any other, or can be configured to support any creative cropping of the source material. This allows support for many screen layouts, even non-rectangular ones, as well as any mix of monitor orientations, vertical, horizontal or oblique, allowing users to create an almost limitless multi-monitor canvas.
Connectivity options
The Fx4-SDI features one DisplayPort1.2 main input and two HDMI1.4 inputs. The intuitive user interface allows users to determine which input they wish to use. A dedicated DisplayPort1.2 loop-through output allows users to link multiple devices. Specifically designed to avoid loss of resolution, the original capture signal remains unchanged.
The two Ethernet ports allow users to connect their device to the network. However, the Ethernet loop on the second port means that only one device in the chain needs to be physically connected. A dedicated BNC connector allows users to synchronise with third-party hardware.
Built-in Videowall Designer technology
Wall Designer allows users to add displays from the growing database of monitors, visualise their content by adding inputs and backgrounds and adjusting capture areas. Finally, it allows all Datapath Fx4-SDI to be configured via USB or network ports.
