The Miller ArrowX 3 Sprinter II 2 Stage Carbon Fiber system is a combination of two Miller flagship products, the ArrowX 3 fluid head with a 100mm hemisphere and the 1576 Sprinter II 2-stage carbon fibre tripod.
The Sprinter II carbon fibre tripod with mid-level spreader and ergonomic carrying handle has been manufactured to provide greater deployment comfort, high set-up speed and maximum stability.
For this purpose, it features a double-action leg-lock system designed exclusively by Miller to facilitate the work of camera operators working in demanding shooting conditions. Its locking levers are positioned adjacent to each other, allowing them to be operated together or independently to achieve height ranges from 602 to 1,692mm. They are positioned high enough off the ground for the operator not to have to bend down to manipulate the tripod.
It has a intertwined layered construction method of carbon fibre and basalt to offer maximum resistance to twisting due to the rigidity of its legs, ideal for shoots that require precise camera movements.
The legs are integrated into the 100mm die-cast alloy base, reinforcing the rigidity of the assembly.
The Miller ArrowX 3 100mm hemisphere fluid head has a versatile payload range of 1 to 19kg and a 120mm quick release camera plate, making it a perfect and safe choice for use with ENG, EFP, mirrorless, small film rigs or sliders and lightweight camera cranes.
It is a highly durable head, with robust construction and design and high quality surface coatings, sealed against moisture and dust, ensuring high precision and stability.
The unique Miller CB Plus counterbalance technology, the main feature of this fluid head, is installed in its 15+0 counterbalance positions. It enables high precision of movement thanks to its sequential adjustment that counterbalances the weight of the camera when tilted. It provides efficient and ergonomic control of the counterbalance mechanism. It also offers a 5+0 pan and tilt friction adjustment for smooth camera movements.
