The Miller ARROWX 3 SPRINTER II system is a tripod kit that is the result of the combination of the ArrowX3 100mm hemisphere fluid head and the 1580G aluminium alloy, two-stage, ground spreader tripod. It has been designed to offer fast rig set-up and versatility in the load range it supports, with a high level of stability.
The ArrowX3 head has high quality surface coatings, sealed against dust and moisture. Robust in design and construction, it provides high stability, precision and durability, with a payload range of 1 to 19 kg.
Thanks to this loading versatility it is able to work seamlessly with Broadcast, ENG, mirrorless, DSLR or small film cameras, as well as sliders or lightweight camera cranes. Its 120mm quick release camera plate allows for safe and accurate installation,
It has 5+0 friction positions and 15+0 counterbalance positions for maximum precision of movement. These counterbalance positions are equipped with one of the main features of the ArrowX, the Miller CB Plus exclusive counterbalance system. A unique counterbalance design with sequential adjustment designed to neutralise the effect of camera weight when the camera is tilted. This technology provides efficient and ergonomic control of the counterbalance mechanism.
Its bubble level and tilt and pan drag controls can be illuminated for several seconds, making it easy to levelling and manoeuvre.
The 1580G Sprinter II aluminium alloy tripod consists of two stages, ground spreader, 100mm base and ergonomic carrying handle. It has been designed to offer maximum stability, high set-up speed and greater deployment comfort.
The distinctive feature of this tripod is the locking levers of the upper and lower legs positioned parallel to each other. This allows the two stages of the tripod, which has a remarkable height range of 602-1.692mm, to be operated simultaneously or independently, providing great agility in deploying the equipment. The locks have been positioned high enough to eliminate the need for the operator to bend down.
