The Panasonic AU-VSHL2G is a shoulder adapter for the VariCam LT. It allows the camera to be carried on the shoulder, and to adapt the filter holder rods.
This accessory is a key accessory for the
VariCam LT, the Panasonic Cinema-Style shoulder mount not only serves as a shoulder mount for the camera, but also as a 15mm LWS rod base plate. The camera attaches to the shoulder mount via an included ARRI standard sliding quick-release plate for easy on-set mounting and removal, while the shoulder mount itself is VCT-14 compliant, allowing you to mount all equipment on compatible tripod plates. For accessory mounting and support, the shoulder mount features 15mm front and rear clamps, with standard ARRI rosettes near the front clamps to support an optional grip module or other third-party hand grips. In addition to the VCT interface, the V-wedge has a
3/8"-16 threaded hole for mounting your rig to other tripod and dovetail plates.
