Manfrotto's 526 is a professional fluid video head that features a Pan & Tilt fluid drag variable system, variable counterbalance system in lateral movements, slip shoe for quick setup and mounting, 100mm diameter for levelling and telescopic panoramic bar.

The new 526 Pro Video Head is designed for heavy-duty cameras, the most advanced ENG models and for the EFP video marketplace, offering a fluid video spherical plain bearing with extremely complete features that combine all the benefits of the Series 500 spherical plain bearings with the ability to support loads of up to 16kg. The 526 features a removable panoramic bar rosette, so if there is any damage on the side, only a small part needs to be replaced; it also has large padded knobs for better grip and all controls (vertical and panoramic tilt lock, and tilt friction) are located on the left side for easy locating.

The 526 offers our most accurate fluid drive system, with three setting steps for low, medium and high friction levels (numbered 1,2 and 3), plus the additional "no friction" (number 0) configuration for occasions such as very fast pan or tilt movements. The counterbalance is achieved through an adjustable spring for cameras weighing between 8 and 15kg. It incorporates a 100mm hemisphere that adapts to a majority of tripods, allowing a quick leveling of the camera with the help of a bubble level. The 526 incorporates a panoramic bar and the 357PLV long plate.
