The Magewell Ultra Encode HDMI Plus is a video encoder for professional IP streaming applications. It supports video signals up to 4096p60 4:2:0 (4096p30 4:4:4) and encodes them in both H.264 and H.265 (HEVC) with bitrates of up to 60Mbps depending on the chosen protocol. Compatible with virtually all professional IP video protocols (SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, RTSP, NDI, NDI|HX3, HL, TS over UDP/TS over RTP and TVU ISSP), supports up to 6 simultaneous destinations and is capable of connecting to the network via both Ethernet and WiFi or 4G/5G USB Dongle. The Magewell Ultra Encode HDMI Plus also has the ability to record via its USB slot to a suitable storage medium, as well as connecting to an FTP server or cloud services. Supports recording in .mp4, .mov or TS format files, exporting, downloading the files through the GUI and scheduled recording.

The Ultra Encode Plus series of live encoders offers system integrators and streaming professionals a flexible and affordable encoding solution for applications including live streaming, AV over IP, remote contribution, IP production workflows, and more. Available in HDMI and SDI models or both (AIO) connectors, Ultra Encode Plus supports high-quality H.264, H.265 (HEVC), and NDI®|HX, as well as multiple streaming protocols with wired or wireless network connectivity.
Ultra Encode supports live streaming on protocols such as RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, and others at bitrates up to a maximum of 60 Mbps, with configurable presets for easy streaming to Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. Most protocols can be transmitted to multiple destinations simultaneously, with separate encoding parameters for each stream.In addition to major streaming protocols, Ultra Encode supports NDI®|NewTek HX for IP production workflows and with the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol (developed and open source by Haivision) for robust delivery of H.264/H.265 streams over unpredictable networks such as the Internet. The encoder can be mounted on the camera for easy remote contribution, while NDI®|Bandwidth-efficient HXs can be sent over wireless networks to multiple receivers, simplifying production workflows and on-site monitoring.
Ultra Encode Plus can be combined with Magewell's Pro Convert set-top boxes to form flexible AV-over-IP infrastructures leveraging NDI or SRT technology. Devices can be configured and controlled via an intuitive web graphical user interface or HTTP-based APIs, providing system users with exceptional deployment and integration flexibility.
