ATOMOS NINJA V 5" 4K HDMI RECORDING MONITOR
Portable 4Kp60 10bit HDR monitor/recorder with 5" screen and 1000nit brightness, perfect for mirrorless, digital SLR and video cameras. Ninja V records video up to 4K60 HDR 10bit, directly from the camera sensor via HDMI 2.0, generates ProRes files or DNxHR, ready to edit, in standard SSD units, avoiding internal compression of the cameras and without time limit. A small AtomX SSDmini disk of 1TB allows 2.5 hours of recording in 4K. The new AtomX SSDmini is just over 1/4 inch high and 3" long. It is also 20% smaller than traditional SSDs, but keeps the standard SATA III connector. It is compatible with previous versions of Atomos units. These reduced SSDs are a real innovation and the manufacturers Angelbird, G-technology and Sony make customized versions for the Ninja.
The ultra-bright 5.2-inch, 10-bit HDR monitor has an amazing 1,000nits. With an elegant aluminum body of 1" (2.5 cm), it is manufactured for maximum durability, weighing only 320g, it is easily integrated with any type of camera. The Ninja V's touch screen is capable of displaying more than 10 steps of dynamic range in real time from Log / PQ / HLG signals. Allows you to see the images clearly in daylight, on an anti-reflective screen from end to end. The screen can be calibrated to obtain perfect color accuracy at all times, with HDR or SDR playback.
The recording of 4k60 or HD240 games is simple from any game console that has HDMI output. Just connect the Ninja V between the console and the TV, and you can record for hours on SSD drives. The HDR markers built into the HDMI output signal maintain a perfect TV setup all the time. The operating system of Atomos, AtomOS, offers all the necessary tools for precise configuration and operation at a single touch of the screen, guaranteeing an excellent recording at all times. For instant review of recordings, AtomOS offers fast playback, slow motion and frame by frame.
Any production, large or small, needs a high-quality visualization. Even if it is not being recorded, the Ninja V is a great monitor. The audio can be ingested directly from the camera via HDMI, or can be fed into analog through a stereo mini-jack line/microphone, especially useful for cameras that do not have audio input. The files recorded in the Ninja V are directly available for editing on Mac or PC. Shots can be tagged while recording to search them directly in edit with up to six streams, edit them directly from the SSD in Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere or Avid Media Composer.
The Ninja V can receive improvements thanks to the built-in expansion slot. Two-way high-speed video, audio and power, are some of the future possibilities. The expansion modules will be attached to the unit's battery slot and will offer advanced features.
