The Blackmagic URSA Mini Recorder lets you record Blackmagic RAW files to NVMe based 2.5 inch U.2 SSD U.2 drives or standard 2.5 inch SSD media. This means that you can use high-capacity, readily available and cost-effective solid state media. NVMe-based SSD media can record 12K, 8K and 4K, 12-bit RAW files at full resolution and are also available in much larger sizes, so you can record much longer without having to change drives.
Designed specifically for the Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro line of cameras, it fits on the back between the frame and the battery. All functions are controlled directly from the camera via the USB-C port, which greatly simplifies operation. The SSD content can also be accessed from a computer via a Blackmagic MultiDock device, which means you can edit and color grade your footage directly from the SSDs.
