The BrightSign HD224 digital signage player features 4K and Full HD video decoding with HTML5 rendering engine and simultaneously playback of local, networked or streaming video. At the front of the HD224 is a micro SD slot, into which you can load media content with up to 2TB of storage (SDXC). Includes HDMI 2.0 output for connecting displays and a Gigabit Ethernet port. At the back there is a 12-pin GPIO port with 8 bi-directional GPIOs, 3.5mm IR port, a 3.5mm audio output (analogue or non-simultaneous digital). The BrightSign HD224 digital signage device also supports BrightBeacon, permitting bi-directional communication between BrightSign players and mobile devices over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi technology (additional module required).
