Adapter for using PL mount optics on L-Mount system cameras (Leica L), This adapter has wedge adjustments at two points on the mount. Adjustments can be made on the camera side with the supplied wedge kit or on the optics side with an ARRI digital camera wedge. This provides great flexibility to use one material or the other with cinema quality.
The adapter has an aluminum alloy body and ring together with a rugged brass mount, the MC-31 adapter provides excellent durability. It is also designed to be attached to the mount of SIGMA fp saga cameras with a screw thread form ensuring a more secure and reliable coupling between the body and the optic.
This SIGMA MC-31 adapter has a tripod mount (removable) so that apart from being able to use a tripod it allows the use of other accessories. By removing the screw thread, the locking ring stop is released, making it possible to use the MC-31 with a PL optic that requires a tighter mount than the adapter specifications allow and to securely attach the optic.
