502 FLUID VIDEO HEAD WITH FLAT BASE
The Manfrotto MVH502AH is a flatbed video head (3/8''-16 connection) with 504PLONG Quick Shoe. It supports a maximum load of up to 7Kg and has a 4Kg counterbalance system. It features a variable pan and tilt fluid drag system, a sliding shoe for quick setup and mounting, a flat base for multiple tripod connections and an Easy Link system for connecting external accessories.
The MVH502AH represents an advance over the popular 501HDV, with a more robust construction and Manfrotto's patented Bridging technology. This patella is designed to perform film movements with compact camcorders and DSLR video cameras. The bridge technology ensures that the friction control of pan and tilt movements is intuitive and easy to adjust.
Of course, there are separate locks for pan and tilt movements, and the drag for both is selectable in a continuous range from zero to the maximum level. This allows the kneecap to be operated reliably and smoothly with the included panning bar.
