Designed in collaboration with the world's leading colourists, the BlackmagicDesign Micro Color Panel for DaVinci Resolve features high quality dials and precise knobs for fine tuning of colour grading parameters, as well as keys for playback control and access to a variety of features. Designed for portability, the Resolve is compatible with Apple iPadPro devices, has an internal battery, and connects via Bluetooth or via USB-C.
Whether the user is a beginner or an expert in colour grading, this colour control panel enables faster and more creative workflows. At the same time, it offers the possibility to fluidly control multiple parameters simultaneously, thus offering greater flexibility and speed compared to a computer mouse. The high quality knobs and buttons provide an optimal degree of resistance for precise adjustment of settings.
The new DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel includes three high resolution heavyweight dials and twelve beautiful rotary knobs that give you direct access to the most effective color grading tools, giving you the opportunity to experiment with new combinations. These can be used to control luminance, contrast, highlights, mid-tones, shadows, saturation and hue, as well as colour enhancement.
The panel is not much larger than a keyboard and is powered via battery or USB-C connection. It also features Bluetooth technology and is ideal for placement next to a computer, so you can switch between using both devices when editing and colour grading simultaneously.
In addition, the DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel features a variety of color correction and playback controls on the top and sides of the panel that put the most frequently used features within easy reach, so colorists don't need to access complicated modules or menus to change settings. Until now, many of these controls have only been available on larger models.
For users familiar with the DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel, the adaptation process is immediate. Many controls are in the same position and the dials have been improved, tripling the panel's functionality by allowing the shape, size and position of a vignette or its fade, as well as resizing an image using the same rings and dials used for colour grading. In addition, the panels are available in different languages to facilitate their use in different parts of the world.
