Sennheiser HMD26-II-100 Broadcast Headset
The HMD 26-II-100 Broadcast headphones from Sennheiser meet the requirements of demanding broadcast applications in the studio or on location. The headphones are lightweight and feature soft ear pads and a padded headband for comfortable wearing even during long working days.
The closed supra-aural headphones are designed for high sound pressure level and provide passive noise attenuation. They are equipped with the ActiveGard limiter, which protects against sudden volume peaks above 105dB and can be switched on or off. They are equipped with a dynamic microphone with hypercardioid pattern. The microphone is designed for excellent acoustic performance, reliable noise suppression and features a shock-mounted capsule to absorb structure-borne noise. The short, flexible boom allows for correct positioning of the microphone.
The closed and supra-aural headsets HMD26 are lightweight and designed for use in broadcast applications at TV and Radio. The headphones are dimensioned for high maximum SPL. HMD 26 provides high wearing comfort in combination with a good noise attenuation. All variants of HMD 26 for Broadcast are equipped with ActiveGard which protects the user from volume peaks.
The dynamic microphone with hyper-cardioid characteristic satisfies with perfect broadcast sound up to 16 kHz. It is mainly designed for applications in noisy environments. Another important feature is the less sensitivity against structure-born sound.
The gooseneck microphone can be used either on left or right-hand side. The microphone boom allows an individual adjustment at the right position.
