The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 features a redesigned interface with larger buttons for greater ease in source selection, audio mixing, recording, and streaming. It also integrates dedicated buttons for the output section, allowing you to easily switch between video sources, program output, and multiview. A new physical fader provides enhanced control for transitions.
On the rear panel, you'll find HDMI inputs for cameras or computers, XLR and MADI audio connections, USB outputs, a Thunderbolt port for recording and playback, as well as three configurable HDMI outputs for program/multiview. The USB-C output also enables the program signal to be recognized as a webcam by applications such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Skype, OBS Studio, and others.
This powerful Blackmagic switcher allows you to mix, add effects, color grade, and overlay content in real-time, either using the panel buttons or via ATEM Software Control. It also enables direct control of Blackmagic Studio, URSA Mini/Broadcast, and Micro Studio cameras from the same switcher. The integrated DVEs allow you to simultaneously use multiple images with great creative flexibility.
The ISO function allows you to individually record each of the eight HDMI sources, as well as the program output, via one of the USB-C ports. Additionally, the unit automatically generates a DaVinci Resolve project file, simplifying post-production editing.
The eight HDMI inputs support the most common HD signals, with support up to 1080p60. Each input features format and frame rate conversion, as well as re-synchronization, ensuring smooth switching between different source types.
The Thunderbolt port on the new ATEM Mini Extreme ISO model enables you to transmit the alpha channel and main image, capture, and even power the device.
Thanks to its compact design and portability, this switcher is ideal for live events. It incorporates a streaming engine, enabling direct streaming via the Ethernet port using SRT and RTMP protocols. You can stream to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch in high quality, with no frame loss, and with a simple setup. Additionally, you can connect an Apple or Android phone to the USB port to use mobile data, even as a backup in case of a primary network failure.
The ATEM Mini Extreme ISO G2 is compatible with the ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel, ATEM Streaming Bridge, and ATEM Camera Control Panel.
For recording, the switcher allows content capture via the USB port and also includes a CFexpress card slot, offering multiple storage options. The two independent combo XLR audio inputs allow you to connect microphones or players, which can be controlled directly from the switcher.
