The Breakaway Box 750ex eGPU adds four 5Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports for connecting peripherals, plus a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port for a wired network connection.
The Sonnet eGPU BreakawayBox 750ex allows you to connect a high-performance graphics card to a compatible Thunderbolt3-equipped computer to work with post-production software, video editing, animation, colour grading, rendering and digital graphics compositing in a very agile way, speeding up your workflow. The included power supply is equivalent to the system power of 750W, allowing cards up to 475W to be installed and providing a laptop load of up to 87W. For extra power for the card to be installed, the chassis includes two 8-pin connectors (6+2 pins). The Breakaway Box's 40Gbps Thunderbolt3 port ensures a total PCIe bus bandwidth of 2,750MB/s dedicated to the installed card.
The eGPU Breakaway Box expansion chassis functions as a Plug-n-Play device, boosting the performance of any eGPU-compatible computer.
