Gefen EXT-DVI-FM500 - 2 LC fiber DVI extender

DVI extender over 2 single mode or multimode fibers. The DVI fiber optic extender Gefen EXT-DVI-FM500 can extend a DVI signal up to 1.5km away.  This extender is ideal for installations where the DVI source and display are separated from each other in an environment prone to electromagnetic interference. Two optical fibers with LC termination, provide maximum extension and excellent protection against EMI interference, as well as preserving signal integrity.

The automatic EDID programming function allows fast and correct synchronization of the video source with the display, without the need for manual configuration. This enables rapid image recovery when the display is turned on or when used in conjunction with switches or matrix.
