Datavideo TC-200 HD/SD Character Generator Kit

Portable HD/SD Character Generator that includes CG-200 software, making it an innovative HD CG system for mobile broadcast, live conferencing and dynamic video presentations. Using a standard notebook computer, it allows users to create and deliver compelling graphics and titles on-screen in real time. It is easy to handle, designed to be intuitive and responsive under the pressure of a live event. CG-200 and TC-200 works with standard Windows notebooks with HDMI interface and supports video mixers with and without DSK. Up to now, real-time PC titration software has required an additional SDI adapter card to be installed on a desktop PC. For live onsite programming, a computer-based character generator can be problematic, in terms of most physical PC programming, the need for an additional display and power requirement. CG-200 and TC-200 make the professional CG reality in plain sight.

DSK Mode

As software only, CG-200 and TC-200 can work with a video mixer equipped with a DSK. In this mode, CG-200 and TC-200 can be configured as Key or Fill source. You can work with any video mixer (such as the Datavideo SE-2800 and SE-3000) that has a downstream keyer (DSK).

Overlay Mode

Title Overlay mode overcomes the lack of a DSK in the video mixer. Using the small external hardware unit TC-200, the laptop's HDMI output is embedded with the SDI output of a camcorder, VTR or video mixer.
