For mounting accessories, it offers long hot shoe mounting slot on the top, and 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom. It has shutter speed, gamma, iris, white balance, gain and focus adjustments, with 10 memories. It can also work in automatic mode. The POV camera also has M52.0 x 0.75 filter thread. Infrared remote control included.

The BC-80 provides 30x optical zoom and the image output interfaces are SDI and HDMI. The BC-80 is compatible with the SONY VISCA protocol, which allows controlling the camera through the RS-422 or DVIP interface and the built-in indication light indicates when it is active.
