The Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift consists of 17 elements in 11 groups. It suppresses distortion to near zero from corner to corner.
The 15mm f/4.5 Shift is the widest shift lens for full-frame cameras. The angle of view is 110°, and covers a huge ⌀ 65mm image circle, is complemented by an incredible +/- 11mm recline range to compensate for unwanted converging lines and major distortions. The wider perspective offers great flexibility for photographers to capture architectural and interior shots when space is limited.
This control is further complemented by a 360° rotation mechanism that applies movement in different directions for both horizontal and vertical orientation. It is a lens that also reproduces scenes with a high degree of accuracy and very low distortion.
The lens has an optical construction featuring two aspherical and three extra-low dispersion elements, which reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. It features an anti-reflective coating that also helps control flare and haze for enhanced contrast and color reproduction.
The Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift Lens uses a manual focus design to work with subjects up to 20 cm away and has five aperture blades for clear 10-point bursts.
