Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro, an all-round studio camera
The Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pro is a compact, lightweight, live production Broadcast camera with EF lens mount. Features added to the Studio include carbon fiber body, up to 25,600 ISO, 13 stops of dynamic range, larger Tally light, HDMI output with camera control, 12G-SDI input and output, SDI talkback, 2 USB-C ports for recording and control, a 5-pin headphone jack, speaker, built-in microphones, 7" HDR LCD screen, a redesigned sunhood and 10G Ethernet.
It offers UHD resolutions up to 6144x3456p50. It is lightweight yet durable for field use. Features a bright 7" capacitive touch HDR display that allows control of all settings and has a detachable and foldable sunshade. Brightness, contrast, iris and peaking controls are on the sides as well as 3 programmable buttons. The camera integrates DaVinci Resolve to control color and brightness from a computer and an ATEM mixer.
The HPRC S-BMS-5200-01 pre-cut foam hard case has been specifically designed for Blackmagic Design Studio cameras, i.e. the Studio Camera 6K Pro, Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 or Studio Camera 4K Plus. It is a professional, watertight, impact, drop and corrosion resistant case. It features an expanded EPDM O-ring designed to keep the case watertight and your equipment protected, even if submerged in shallow water. An automatic release valve equalises air pressure when travelling by air.
If you're not using Blackmagic Studio Cameras, you can reuse the 5200 case by replacing the custom pre-cut foam with HPRCCUB5200 pre-cut foam cubes or HPRCSSK5200 second skin and separator kit.
The case features custom pre-cut foam that can accommodate:
- Blackmagic Studio 6K PRO/ 4K PRO G2/ 4K PLUS Camera
- Charger + Adapter
- Tripod Plate
- 3x Camera Numbers
The pre-cut foam has three possible internal configurations, which can accommodate the different cameras (Studio Camera 6K Pro, the Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 or the Studio Camera 4K Plus).
