The BirdDog SDM M1 module is a complete NDI emitter and receiver, based on the Intel SDM-L form factor. It receives NDI® from any point in the network and displays it on the screen. With the send function, you can connect a source such as a laptop and then duplicate it across any number of additional BirdDog Display-enabled displays.
BirdDog Operating System
BirdDog has created a complete operating system for the Intel® SDM platform, simply called BirdDog OS, to provide a truly integrated NDI® distribution system. BirdDog M1 is based on Intel® SDM core architecture for maximum performance. Underpinned with BirdDog technology, BirdDog OS has incorporated Crestron control and a RESTful API for complete automation. In this way, BirdDog Display has a full RESTful API as well as a Crestron control library for programming proprietary automations on all BirdDog hardware endpoints, including cameras.
The best user experiences are based on user-friendly interfaces. BirdDog OS features a clean and elegant design to make it super intuitive and easy to change fonts. Leveraging the power of NDI®, BirdDog Display can receive a virtually unlimited number of NDI® sources on the network. Simply use a remote control or any pointing device to bring that source to full screen.
Dante Audio Compatible
With the optional Dante activation licence, the M1 can be fully compatible with a Dante system. The M1 can embed Dante into the NDI stream and also de-embed Dante audio out of the NDI stream. Perfect for receiving NDI and splitting Dante to the audio system in conference rooms, educational facilities, corporate AV spaces, etc. Performance and reliability.
