HVS0403U from AVMatrix is a video switcher and audio mixer with 2 HDMI inputs and 2 SDI inputs that are auto-detected. It features one HDMI output for multiview and two HDMI programme outputs, plus a USB Type-C output. The switcher is easy to use and features a host of functions, including luma and chroma keying, mix/fade/blur effects, audio mixing and a picture-in-picture (PiP) or picture-on-picture (PoP) layout. It also incorporates tactile features such as automatic transitions and cut or T-bar transitions. Incorporate four separate sources for switching up to 1080p60 video with embedded audio, or mix additional audio by connecting two 3.5mm stereo analogue microphone/line inputs.
Scaled output and multiview
The AVMatrix HVS0403U switcher supports formats including 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576i and 480p HDMI and SDI signals. Each output supports up/down scaling and are configurable as HDMI/SDI, PVW, PGM, clean PGM and multiview sources.
USB Capture for Streaming
Streaming is possible by connecting the switcher to a computer via the USB Type-C output, using software such as OBS, PotPlayer or vMix for live streaming to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.
Audio mixing. Audio follows video
Easily mix embedded audio from two HDMI and two SDI sources or set the embedded audio function to AFV (audio follows video) mode. It also allows you to embed two external audio sources via the unit's two 3.5 mm analogue (microphone/line) inputs.
PC control software
Free software can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website that allows users to control all device settings via IP.
