The AJA ColorBox is a compact colour converter for colour management designed to meet the conversion needs of broadcast, live event and set applications.  It supports Standard Dynamic Range (SDR), High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Colour Gamut (WCG) signals and uses 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 for single-cable 4K/UltraHD HDR up to 4:2:2 10bit 60p or 4:4:4 12bit 30p, with a single colour processing channel.
 
Built around a 33-point 3D LUT processor with tetrahedral interpolation, the AJA Color Pipeline provides 4x additional 1D LUTs and 2x individually configurable 3x3 matrices, including as ProcAmps or RGB Colour Correctors. Management of the colour processing options is available via a web interface that can be accessed directly from a wired Ethernet connection or via a wireless connection using a USB WiFi adapter (optional).

Built around the 33-point 3D LUT processor with tetrahedral interpolation, AJA Color Pipeline provides 4x additional 1D LUTs and 2x 3x3 matrices that are each individually configurable even as Proc Amps or RGB Colour Correctors. Easily manage colour processing options via the web user interface which can be accessed directly from a wired Ethernet connection or via a wireless connection using a third party USB WiFi adapter.

ColorBox includes Colorfront and NBCU LUTs processing modes, as well as a powerful AJA Color Pipeline. ColorBox also extends its capabilities by offering licensed upgrade options for advanced colour management workflows, including BBC HLG LUTs and the new ORION-CONVERT engine.  ORION-CONVERT's unique real-time floating-point mathematical approach to colour transformations produces more accurate results for "colour access between colours".  This allows for pixel-perfect colour transformations and rounding where maintaining colours is paramount.  

ColorBox also offers a sophisticated test pattern generator and frame store, bringing useful tools to your workflow, including the ability to capture up to a 4K image as a 16-bit .tiff file for the highest quality reference frames. ColorBox can even overlay information on the image, including useful user-definable text fields. These images can be saved locally in ColorBox or on a connected third-party PC running an application such as Pomfort's Livegrade Pro/Studio and Assimilate Live Looks.
