The Netgear MSM4214X network switches are part of the M4250 AV switch line, designed to facilitate clean integration with traditional rack-mounted AV equipment in Multigigabit IP Video installations. This switch features a total of 14 ports: 12x 100/1000/2.5G RJ45 and two 10G SFP+ slots. The Netgear MSM4214X switches come preconfigured for standard audio and video signals. When requirements are more specific, the AV user interface offers per-port customization. For audio, Dante, Q-SYS and AES67 are available, as well as an AVB profile (optional). For video, the GSM4212PX offers NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, etc., as well as mixed audio, video and control profiles. It has different fan functions that ensure good cooling of the device with a very low noise impact.

The NETGEAR M4250 series of network switches have been developed for professional audio and video applications. The MSM4214X have been built from the ground up for the growing AV over IP market, combining years of AV networking experience with best practices from leading experts in the professional AV market. Features such as the rear location of the ports or their form factor ensure a clean integration into AV racks.
Netgear MSM4214X network switches come pre-configured for standard audio and video signals. When requirements are more specific, an AV user interface offers customization with port-based profiles. For audio, Dante, Q-SYS and AES67 profiles are available, as well as an AVB profile, which requires an AVB license, sold separately. For video, the MSM4214X offers profiles for NVX, AMX, Q-SYS, NDI, Dante, etc., as well as mixed audio, video and control profiles.
When multiple switches are used, NETGEAR IGMP PlusTM offers the necessary automation to simply connect them together, or with the switches of the M4300 and M4500 ranges.
