The Aputure Amaran 100x S Bi-Color LED spotlight adopts the all-in-one concept of the previous COB 100x. With an improved LED chipset design, this 100W fixture performs very well as a main light for small subjects. It provides a variable color temperature of 2700-6500ºK with an ultra-high SSI score across the board for extremely accurate and enhanced color rendering. This point source light offers 30,500lux output at 1m when combined with the included Hyper Reflector. It features nine easily accessible lighting effects to simulate different creative looks. It is the ideal choice for videographers, content creators and photographers looking for a light and quiet light, without sacrificing image quality. Its quiet cooling system will not interfere in any scenario, whether creating content in a home studio or on location.
You can find the right lighting level for each scene with 0-100% dimming and easily make adjustments locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD display. Wireless control is also possible from up to 80m away using a smartphone and the Sidus Link app. It allows you to conveniently select lighting settings, activate Lighting FX or control multiple units at the same time. The Amaran 100x S bi-color spotlight offers several power options and is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included 100 to 240VAC power supply. When AC power is not available, it can also be operated with two optional V-Mount batteries, using the separately available 2-bay battery power station. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount, it allows compatibility with a wide range of light shapers.

The S-Series has improved spectral continuity, to achieve the enhanced color quality of an ultra-high SSI (Tungsten) of 89 and (D56) of 87, a 17.5% increase in SSI over its predecessor. Impressive CRI 95, TLCI 97, CQS 97 and TM-30 Rf 96/Rg 102 ratings are your assurance of a high degree of color reproduction accuracy at all times. Suitable for small studios or live streaming, the significantly improved spectral quality of the Amaran 100x S will ensure accurate reproduction of skin tones in your videos and photos.
Powerful output with Hyper Reflector
The 100x S emits up to 3,640 lux at a distance of 1m at 5600ºK. When equipped with the included Hyper Reflector, the light output increases to an impressive 30,500 lux. It is a suitable choice for filmmakers and photographers alike, producing soft and intense illumination for all shooting environments.
Preset effects
The spotlight has nine special effects, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, explosion and fire.
Lightweight and versatile
The Amaran 100x S is a lightweight, umbrella-mounted spotlight with integrated umbrella mount and full Bowens mount versatility. It can be combined with a wide selection of optional modifiers, including the Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II and Aputure Lante.
