Adopting the generous output and compact form factor of the Forza 300 and 300B models, Nanlite has added key refinements across the board to enhance the performance of its second generation Forza 300B-II Bicolor LED spotlight. With an adjustable color temperature of 2700-6500K with a green-magenta adjustment of +/- 80, this fixture is a step up to the next level of quality for your video and photo productions. It will blend seamlessly into any ambient lighting situation, combine with other fixtures or allow for creative expression. The light comes with a 55° reflector, Bluetooth and 2.4GHz for wireless control, DMX/RDM capability and four fan modes for speed settings or absolute silence. Also included is a redesigned control unit, with the ability to run efficiently on AC power or optional V-mount batteries.
The Forza 300B-II is supplied with an upgraded yoke, which allows 360° rotation, for a greater tilt range when used with optional large modifiers. A 5/8" anchor accepts standard light mounts and the light's Bowens mount is broadly compatible with multiple light modifiers. The light is ready for worldwide use thanks to the 110 to 240VAC power supply, but can also run on one or two optional side-mounted 14.8V batteries for situations where AC power is not available. A padded carrying bag is supplied to protect it during storage and transport.
With the included 55° reflector, the Forza 300B II emits up to 68,060lux at 1m (5600K). When equipped with the separately available Fresnel FL-20G with barndoors, the light output increases to an impressive 151,000lux.
The Forza 300B-II spotlight offers a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 97, which means you can shoot with confidence, knowing that color reproduction will be accurate. In addition to color accuracy, the light offers 12 built-in customizable effects, which can be saved as presets using the free NANLINK app.
In shooting situations where you need to match other light sources or achieve a specific look, it can be extremely useful to adjust the shift from green to magenta for color correction. With this feature of the Forza 300B II you can adjust the color by +/- 80 to achieve this. The Forza 300B-II is the first 300W projector with this capability, made possible by its WW(RG) LED source.
The spotlight offers four fan modes, for enhanced speed control according to your needs. The focus fan is 9dBA quieter than the previous generation fan and can be turned off when you need absolute silence.
Optimized for studio or outdoor use, the control unit included with the Forza 300B II is equipped with easily accessible battery plates on the sides to accommodate up to two V-mount batteries. The Forza 300B II can run on either AC power or one or two 14.8V V-mount batteries, so you can use it anywhere regardless of power availability.
The Forza 300B-II control unit features a convenient OLED display and integrated buttons and knobs for precise and easy local control, but the light can also be controlled remotely.
The light's improved curved swivel yoke has a unilateral locking, forward articulation and allows 360° rotation to provide a greater tilt range with optional large modifiers. It also incorporates an umbrella bracket to expand light shaping options. In addition, the light's Bowens mounting capability makes the Forza 300B II compatible with a wide range of modifiers.
Compact yet powerful, the Forza 300B-II has a rectangular shape that can be stacked when assembled, disassembled or stored. Its head measures 32.7 x 22.6 x 12.2 cm and weighs 2.86 kg. The light control unit is now 37% smaller, with dimensions of only 23.1 x 15.5 x 13.7cm. The flashlight head and control unit combined have a total weight of 5.62kg.
