This basic Smallrig cage kit for the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and 6K G2 is robustly manufactured and among other applications, it is able to protect the equipment during filming and transport as well as making it versatile in the placement of various accessories, it is placed on a silicone pad to avoid damaging the body of the equipment.
It has several 1/4"-20 threaded holes that allow additional camera accessories, it also has threads for ARRI accessories and 3/8″-16 threads. In addition, it comes with NATO rail and it is possible to convert it into a half cage if you don't need it as a full cage.
SmallRig with this cage provides a slot at the bottom where it fits a Samsung T5 SSD (optional) in the included clamp to conveniently connect this hard drive. The HDMI/USB clamp is mounted on the side of the cage to protect the cables. Screen protectors ensure that the screen on the back of the 6K PRO / 6KG2 is protected from scratches and dust.
