The SmallRig full camera cage for Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K PRO/6K G2 in its advanced version, the 3517. It is a dedicated full cage for this particular camera model.
It holds the camera securely using a 1/4''-20 screw to prevent twisting and has rubber pads on the bottom to prevent scratching. When the cage is operated with the removable Pogo Pin connector, it can be connected directly to the original battery grip to supply power. It features an ARRI locating hole, 1/4"-20 threaded holes and cold shoe on the top, allowing mounting on the ARRI 2165 top handle for manual shots. In addition, it features the SSD mount for Samsung T5 3272. The cage comes with shoulder strap holes on the top of each side for attaching a shoulder strap or other accessories.
Its left side is equipped with a NATO rail and 1/4''-20 threaded hole for mounting NATO 2270 grip and HDMI&USB-C 3271 cable clamp; its upper right and lower left holes can support focusing motor rod mounting. This cage incorporates multiple threaded holes on the bottom for attaching quick release plates 1280 and 2146 and DJI RS2 stabilizer and a built-in wrench for easy disassembly.
Overall, the cage fits snugly to the body without blocking its holes, slots, vents or battery door, thus a comfortable gripping experience and smart, versatile shooting.
