Tilta's Nucleus-Nano II is a wireless lens control system designed specifically for portable gimbal systems. It allows one to control a lens while simultaneously operating their gimbal. The Nano system is compatible with all DSLR, mirrorless and modified vintage (cine style) photographic lenses.
Tilta's Nucleus-Nano II FIZ wireless lens control system is a focus, iris and zoom control system designed for both independent and experienced cinematographers. The basic configuration of the system includes an enhanced touchscreen handwheel controller and a lens control engine with much more power than its predecessor. USB-C connectivity, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connect the units together and offer control compatibility with selected camera systems.
The Nucleus Nano II is backward compatible with the previous generation Nucleus-Nano and Nucleus-M lens engine for easy integration with its previous TILTA equipment. Cameras such as the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro, Sony FX3 and Canon EOS R6 Mark II can be controlled wirelessly from the handheld interface, plus you can mount and integrate the system into your DJI RS 2 or RS 3 Pro gimbal use with the included 15mm rod mount accessories.
With an internal USB-C powered battery, the Nano II offers up to 20 hours of continuous power, depending on usage. The Nano II is the most compatible TILTA system to date, with compatibility with DJI RS2, RS3 Pro, DJI Focus Motors, Nucleus M and the previous generation Nucleus Nano, ensuring a seamless workflow for users already using material from the Nucleus ecosystem.
The USB-C port on the lens control unit can be used to facilitate wired connections to compatible cameras. It can also recharge the internal battery when it runs out and facilitates firmware updates when not updating via Wi-Fi. It is also powered via the contact points on the back which in turn are compatible with other Tilta accessories.
