If you need to capture a wide variety of video signals on your computer, the Magewell USB Capture DVI Plus is a flexible external capture card, which connects to your computer via USB 3.0 and supports a multitude of input video formats. The Capture DVI Plus features a DVI-I input connector with which, by using the included adapters and connecting cables, you can capture DVI-I, DVI + audio, VGA + audio, component video + audio, analog audio by itself, as well as HDMI video with embedded audio.
The Capture Plus is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux and can be used with certain Chrome OS installations. It supports a variety of video formats with resolutions up to 2048x2160 and frame rates up to 120fps. The default capture format is YUY2 4:2:2 8bit, but the card also supports UYVY 4:2:2 8bit, as well as RGB24 and RGB32 4:4:4 8bit.
