The Panasonic HC-X2000 compact camcorder makes it easy to record professionally on the go, with advanced features in a well-balanced body that excels in functionality and mobility. A new ultra-thin fan design distributes heat in a way that makes for the industry's smallest and lightest 4K/60p camcorder, while offering very low power consumption.
The HC-X2000's built-in fixed lens covers a zoom range from 25mm wide-angle to 600mm telephoto with 24x zoom. Panasonic's advanced i.ZOOM electronic zoom achieves 32x zoom, working at 4K resolution and 48x in Full-HD.
Face detection helps keep the focus on the main subject, even if it is turned sideways to the camera. Distance and exposure are accurately tracked by incorporating live sensor data readout and sophisticated color recognition.
In addition to the HC-X2000's built-in optical image stabilization on the lens, electronic image stabilization detects and corrects camera shake. The lens O.I.S. system incorporates bearings to drive the motor, which reduces friction and improves correction of small amplitude blur such as hand shake.
All color information is recorded with a 10-bit 4:2:2 color profile, the same as that used in professional applications at the highest level. The Panasonic HC-X2000 camcorder supports 4K recording at 29.97p/25p (200Mbps) and 10-bit Full-HD at 59.94p/50p (100Mbps) on an SD card. Through the HDMI output, you can record 4K/10bit files even at 59.94p/50p.
HD streaming transmission, supporting RTSP, RTP, RTMP and RTMPS, allows direct connection and distribution of broadcasts of concerts, sports, events and news feeds to Facebook, YouTube, etc. Panansonic HC-X2000 cameras simply need to be connected to a WiFi network, and on their own they are capable of broadcasting on all major platforms via RTMP (Real-time Messaging Protocol). The URLs of the broadcasting sites, as well as user names and passwords, can be stored in the camcorder itself, and it is even possible to save this information on SD cards, which allows switching between different accounts quickly and conveniently. The camera is also capable of adapting the streaming quality to the available bandwidth, and allows video to be recorded simultaneously to either of its two SD card slots.
The Panansonic HC-X2000 integrates a Wi-Fi module that allows connection to a body-only Wi-Fi network. The HC ROP app for tablet or smartphone can also be used to manage wireless camera settings and lens control.
The video light built into the camcorder handle is extremely powerful (70lx at 1 meter) allowing images to be reliably captured in low light locations. The power control included in the handle can be used to easily dim the brightness from 30% to 100%.
The SDI connection is used by professional and broadcast camcorders as it allows high quality video transmission using a single coaxial cable, easy to handle and connect. The HC-X2000 camcorder has Full-HD video output via SDI and 4K UHD via HDMI.
