The SR425 is large enough to use with the camera's LCD screen open. For added convenience, it features a 6" external ABS rail for mounting a mini light. It is made of nylon and clear polyurethane, allowing you to see the camcorder through it.

The new Transparent Raincover is uniquely designed to shield full-size broadcast cameras like the Sony PDW-700 and Panasonic AJ-HPX2700 from extreme and adverse weather. Petrol's ingenious one-piece design makes the cover extremely easy to install while shooting. Constructed of transparent polyurethane (TPU) for maximum visibility and handsome black waterproof nylon, it offers quick and easy access to all camera features. The rigid front hood section is equipped with a hotshoe connector that anchors and stabilizes the cover on camera. A front section of lightweight, waterproof polypropylene board offers a clear view of the camera's tally light. On top of the hood, a 6" ABS track allows for the addition of an on-camera light and/or wireless receiver.
