Altair's WAM-100/2 SEC is a simple "pinganillo" type safety headset with 4-pin mini-XLR connector. Its totally discreet in-ear design makes it ideal for staff working in front of the public, security personnel for events, catering, production, etc. Due to its characteristics, it can also be used as a communication system for television presenters (pinganillo). 

The headset has an electret microphone with 2 modes of operation: PTT (press to speak) and "VOX" (always active).
