The U-TAP HDMI is USB powered, with the ability to simply and easily capture HDMI video for use in a wide range of software, without the need to install any drivers, as it is directly compatible on macOS, Windows and Linux. In video conferencing, streaming, social media, gaming and more, the U-TAP HDMI offers powerful functionality, without requiring any third party driver software.

The AJA U-TAP HDMI is smaller than a smartphone, with USB connectivity. Designed to be quiet, with no fans or moving parts, the U-TAP enhances the recording or streaming experience silently, with automatic video scaling and aspect ratio compliance based on your application requirements, up to 1080p60.

The U-TAP HDMI supports frame rates up to 1080p@60, for High Frame Rate (HFR) HD projects, perfect for live events and fast moving subjects. AJA U-TAP HDMI also provides an HDMI loop output, which allows the HDMI signal to be sent to monitors, switches, or other equipment.
