The AJA U-TAP SDI USB 3.0 capture device bring professional connectivity and high quality video capture to your laptop or workstation. The U-TAP SDI is USB powered, with the ability to simply and easily capture SDI video for use in a wide range of software, without the need to install any drivers, as it is directly compatible on macOS, Windows and Linux. In video conferencing, streaming, social media, gaming and more, the U-TAP SDI offers powerful functionality, without requiring any third party driver software.

The AJA U-TAP SDI is smaller than a smartphone, with USB connectivity. Designed to be quiet, with no fans or moving parts, the U-TAP enhances the recording or streaming experience silently, with automatic video scaling and aspect ratio compliance based on your application requirements, up to 1080p60.

Smaller than a smartphone, but incredibly useful in the field, on set or in a studio, where USB connectivity provides a quick and easy way to capture SDI sources without installing software drivers. Small enough to carry with you, its USB bus connectivity ensures that you never need a power supply.

The U-TAP SDI supports frame rates up to 1080p@60, for High Frame Rate (HFR) HD projects, perfect for live events and fast moving subjects. AJA U-TAP SDI also provides an SDI loop output, which allows the SDI signal to be sent to monitors, switches, or other equipment.
